Creative Explorations

Tracy Kobus
Jumpstart your creativity with a fun as well as
informative weekend of art making!
This workshop is designed for
artists who may be experiencing a creative block, or who want to explore
further possibilities for painting or work in any media.
In a
supportive atmosphere and with an experienced and thoughtful instructor,
you will have freedom to step out of the old, and begin to see something
new!
Participants will be using a variety of media such as; collage,
acrylic paint and India ink - subject matter will vary.
During the weekend Tracy will encourage each
individual to follow their own unique creative path.

includes 2 days instruction, 2 delicious lunches, unlimited studio time
and semiprivate instruction in a safe, comfortable environment.
We
have some easels, tables, paper towels, plastic containers, etc you are
welcome to use.

About the artist:

Tracy Kobus is known
for her imaginative acrylic paintings which have been exhibited in
galleries across the northwest. Since receiving her B.F.A. from
U.B.C., she has participated in artists’ residencies at the Atlin
Art Centre, the Banff Centre for the Arts and recently at the Island
Mountain Arts Centre in Wells.
Tracy has also
worked as an art instructor for adults and children in the Comox
Valley for over a decade. She has taught drawing and painting in
various programs such as; the Fine Arts Department at North Island
College, the ArtStarts program in local schools, the Comox Valley
Art Gallery and continues to offer art classes in the community. Go
