SUPPLY LIST:
Marilyn will be
demonstrating in watercolours or acrylics on location (weather
permitting) each day. You are encouraged to use any medium you choose
as she has experience in all mediums. Please bring everything you might
need to the first session as the group will leave for the first location
right away. The following is a listing of what Marilyn will use, plus
some suggestions of items you might find helpful.
- Paint:
NOTE: Marilyn uses the following
watercolours/acrylics in tubes – SUBSTITUTE similar colours at
will:
___ cadmium yellow light
___ yellow ochre
___ cerulean blue
___ ultramarine blue
___ phthalocyanine blue
___ alizarin crimson
___ cadmium red light
___ quinacridone rose
___ titanium white (acrylic or oil
painters ONLY)

Watercolourists:

good quality watercolour paper
140 lb CP (stretched block or taped – ¼ sheet or larger) one per day

covered large watercolour
palette

natural sponge

brushes, including 1” flat wash
brushes, large sable quill brush and various smaller round brushes
- Acrylic
painters

a canvas/canvas board for each
day 8 X 10” or bigger

acrylic matte or gloss medium

easel of some sort
