Dianne Bersea
is an accomplished watercolour artist and elected
member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour (cspwc). Bright

marked Dianne’s watercolours since she began painting in the northern

Gallery in 1999 confirmed her originality. Recently Dianne
returned to acrylic painting and received an Award of Excellence for her
acrylic “Powell Islet View” at a fall Federation of Canadian Artists
show. Dianne has been a workshop instructor for ten years,
including 7 seasons at Hollyhock retreat centre on Cortes Island as well

Here are some comments about Dianne's previous workshops:
When I got home I was sooooo in the groove. I got my best golf
score ever. Now my golf friends all want to take watercolours.
Most special about the workshop? The playfulness, supportiveness
and positive energy.
On my way home I stopped at a rest stop in the mountains and got
out my sketchpad. Soon I had a gaggle of little kids around me who
wanted to draw. I shared some watercolor crayons and we used river
water. I felt like the pied piper. It's as if I've learned a whole new
language!
Very well prepared & planned. Good balance of demos and time to
paint
Fascinating to follow your process, to see how you allow the
experience to unfold in the moment
Excellent presentation! Clear, uncluttered, direct and informative
