Join Dianne for an exploration of the spontaneous surprises of the
study. We’ll visit nature’s complex visual environment to ‘see’ and
expand awareness of mood, colour and compositional elements. Weather
permitting we’ll create loose, simple on-site studies in pencil,
watercolour crayon or watercolour paint as we learn quick, easy
techniques to capture light, shadow, shape, line, tone and form. In the
studio, we’ll evolve the study further or translate it into a finished
art piece. In the process we'll discuss the natural evolution of a work.
Some watercolour or drawing experience suggested.

set-ups
